In this short piece of movement and sound, the artist embodies what remains of her mother into Eidolon of A-Ngoh: Lingering. The Eidolon's mass is composed of Julie's mother’s clothing, while its head is made of masks constructed of her ashes. In performance, the Eidolon presents the many identities present in the liminal space between life and death—where Peggy flows freely between past selves; as a single mother of an only-child and as a youngest daughter raised in Myanmar. New to the Eidolon performance are excerpts from "Posthumously", written by the artist.
